Quality Stuff

This is my "buy it for life" list. Most of the companies revolve around my (or my wife's) hobbies. I'll update the list over time as I find new good companies or as companies make poor decisions/get bought, and their products are no longer great.

• Concept2 - Assembled in the USA, company is based out of Maine. I rowed competitively for 5 years and the Concept2 "RowErg" is the undisputed king of rowing machines. These days, I have one of their BikeErgs. Customer service is second to none.
• Ernest Wright - Made in the UK (Sheffield). Handmade scissors.
• Lee Nielsen - Made in the USA hand woodworking tools.
• Rosemary & Co - Made in the UK. Specifically the series 33 kolinsky sable paint brushes.
• Starrett - Mostly made in the USA. Wide range of tools, though my own experience only extends to their measuring tools (calipers, squares, etc...).
• Uplift Desk - US company, manufactures in China from what I've read. Extremely high quality electric sit/stand desks.
• Yard O Led - Made in the UK (Birmingham). Handmade sterling silver pens and mechanical pencils.
